Location 32 Thomas Street Portland, Maine 04102 CNS is located at the Williston West Church in the heart of Portland's West End. In addition to our large classrom space, we have access to an open space for dance, celebrations and indoor play on inclement weather days. We also have use of a wonderful kitchen space for cooking projects. The outdoor courtyard provides children with space to run each day as well as experience the seasons together. We also take walks in the neighborhhood from time to time, cultivating the children's interest in nature. Hours (September - June) 9:00-11:45am Tuition Tuition for the 2009-2010 school year is $190 per month. However, we do fit a lot into our days. A typical day includes: • Free play (child's choice) • Circle time • Snack • Reading • Outdoor Play In addition, we incorporate 3-5 field trips based on either the seasons or what we are learning about in the classroom. During the winter, we may add another element to our weeks, such as dance or yoga. Music is also a part of the classroom, through the talents of parents. Schedule Families choose whether to send their children 2,3,4 or 5 days per week. This can be changed at any time during the year to better meet a family's needs.
